The Ministry Of PUPR Prioritizes The Settlement Of PSN And Regional Development Until 2024, Here's The List

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono attended the Ministerial Level Coordination Meeting in the context of the 2024 Government Work Plan Priority Discussion (RKP) with the Minister of National Development Planning (Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa, Wednesday, March 29.

Minister Basuki said, at the National Priority Target (PN) to be achieved in 2024, the Ministry of PUPR will carry out activities through 24 major projects (MP) of 827 activities, with a total cost of IDR 77.34 trillion.

The Ministry of PUPR is also completing several National Strategic Projects (PSN) and the regional development acceleration program which is targeted to be completed in 2024.

"In the completion of the PSN, the Ministry of PUPR is carrying out the construction of nine dams, then the construction and rehabilitation of five irrigation networks, the construction of five toll roads, four SPAMs, and sea embankments in DKI Jakarta," Minister Basuki said in his official statement, Wednesday, March 29.

The PSN is still in the final stage by the Ministry of PUPR, including Manikin Dam, Way Apu, Bulango Ulu, Meninting, Rukoh, Leuwikeris, Lausimeme, Sidan and Jlantah. Then, the construction of the DI irrigation network. Lhok Guci, DI. Jambo Aye Kanan, DI. Lematang, DI. Baliase, and DI. Gumbasa.

Furthermore, the construction of the Bogor Ring Road (including Caringin - Salabendeng) toll road, Kayu Agung-Betung toll road, Sigli-Banda Aceh, Patimban port access, and Pasuruan-Probolinggo toll road, as well as West Semarang SPAM, Jatiluhur, Wasusokas, and Kobema Fort.

In addition, the Ministry of PUPR also supports several Regional Development Acceleration Programs which refer to Presidential Regulation 79/2019. "The activities completed in 2023 include the Improvement of Jalan Pringsurat-Secang-Bts Yogya, Rehabilitation of Penjalin and Malayu Reservoirs, Kab. Brebes, Revitalization of Rowo Jombor Regency. "Meanwhile, the activities that will be completed in 2024 are the construction of the Karangnongko Kab. Blora," said Basuki.

Regarding Presidential Decree 80/2019, the activities completed in 2023 include widening the Lawean-Sukapura road, construction of the Tuban Ring Road and construction of embankments, construction of the Umbulan Regional SPAM Distribution System and normalization of the Jeroan River.

Then, regarding Presidential Regulation 87/2021, the activities completed this year include the construction of the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Seksi 3-6) Toll Road, the construction of the East Coast Breakwater Pangandaran and Flood Control for the West Java International Airport Area, namely the normalization of the Cibolerang River, Revitalization of Situ Cijawura and Cimaneuh.

Regarding the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), the progress so far has reached the preparation of development at IKN (the need for land acquisition and residential needs of ASN and Hankam) and the acceleration of land acquisition for IKN, as well as several scenarios of housing provision financing schemes at IKN.

"There are 16,990 housing units for ASN and Hankam until January 2023, namely 2,585 units are proposed to be built using the APBN with an estimated cost of Rp9.4 trillion, then 9,295 units are planned to be built through the KPBU scheme with an estimated cost of Rp35.8 trillion, and 5,110 units of owned flats need to invite private investment/housing developers with an estimated cost of Rp6.2 trillion," explained Basuki.

Minister Basuki also thanked Bapennas for his support in assisting the Ministry of PUPR in achieving the planned national targets.

"Thank you Bapennas for your support for our guidance, so that by 2023-2024 we will be able to get more close to the targets that have been planned," he concluded.

For your information, the Ministerial Level Meeting (RTM) in the context of discussing the priority of the RKP 2024 with the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas aims to identify and sharpen targets, targets, locations, and priority funding plans for the 2024 RKP, as well as ensure the readiness and fulfillment of the implementation of Major Project in supporting the achievement of National Priority.
