Requirements For Recipients Of IDR 7 Million Electric Motorbike Assistance, Are You Included?

JAKARTA – The government through the Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance) stated that the Rp. 7 million electric motorbike subsidy is not open to all people in Indonesia.

Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) of the Ministry of Finance, Febrio Kacaribu, said that there are a number of certain criteria that must be met by the public.

"The priority for recipients of electric motorbike assistance is micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)," he said in Jakarta on Monday, March 6.

According to Febrio, other community groups that could get this opportunity are recipients of the People's Business Credit alias KUR. Then, the recipients of the Productive Banpres for Micro Enterprises or BPUM.

"It could also be electricity customers with a power of 450 to 900 VA," he said.

Febrio added that some of these criteria are mandatory so that recipients of electric motorbike assistance can further increase productivity and be more efficient in running their business.

"It is for this reason that the government assistance policy is expected to begin soon," he said.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that the electric motorbike subsidy program would be held this month.

"On March 20, this program was able to run," he said.

For information, people can only buy a subsidized electric motorbike once for one person. This is because the sales system uses a National Identity Number (NIK).

"So we really ensure that those who receive assistance are people who are entitled," said the Minister of Industry.

Meanwhile, the value of subsidies provided by the government is IDR 1.75 trillion by the end of this year. This amount was distributed to 200,000 units of new electric motorbikes and 50,000 units of conventional motorbikes which were converted to electric types.
