Oil Supply Plused, Minister Of Trade Zulhas: The Price Of Depok Is Increasingly Stable

JAKARTA - Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan emphasized that the supply of simple packaged cooking oil "Oinyakita" in the people's market will be increased. The plan will make this food commodity more affordable at a price of Rp. 14,000/liter.

"Currently most people prefer Oil because it has good quality so that the supply needs to be increased. For this reason, the Ministry of Trade has increased the supply of Oil and Small Oil to markets from 300,000 tons per month to 450,000 tons per month," he said in an official statement during a visit to the Kreneng Market Denpasar, Bali this weekend.

According to the Trade Minister, the supply of oil and gas for modern retail will be reduced and diverted to the people's market. In addition, the Food Task Force continues to monitor prices and supplies of Oil and Forestry so that they are right on target.

"Until Lebaran, the supply of oil and land is prioritized for the people's market. Oil and land fires cannot be sold at more than the highest retail price and will be supervised by the Food Task Force," said the bureaucrat who is familiarly called Zulhas.

He also said that in general the price of bapok in Denpasar City was monitored to be stable. This is partly due to the role of local governments which help maintain price stability and supply of bapok.

"The regional government is responsive by continuing to monitor bapok prices. If the price of bapok increases, the local government will assist logistics costs. In addition, it is assisted in the form of subsidies so that the price of bapok in Denpasar is stable," said Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan.

Based on the monitoring of the price of medium rice, it was recorded at Rp. 10,000/kg, Rp. 9,000/kg of medium rice, premium rice at Rp. 13,000/kg, sugar for Rp. 13,000/kg, bulk cooking oil at Rp. 15,300/liter, cooking oil at Mintita Rp. 14,000/lite.

Then, cooking oil with premium packaging Rp. 18,000/liter, wheat flour Rp. 13,000/kg, beef Rp. 110,000/kg, chicken meat Rp. 35,000/kg, chicken eggs Rp. 28,800/kg, curly red chilies Rp. 40,000/kg.

Then, large red chilies Rp. 30,000/kg, red cayenne pepper Rp. 47,000/kg, shallots Rp. 37,500/kg, and garlic Rp. 25,000/kg.
