The Government Gives Bandha Reksa Awards To Parties With State Asset Governance

JAKARTA - The government through the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani gave the Anugerah Reksa Bandha award to ministries/agencies (K/L) and stakeholders who were considered outstanding in managing state assets and auctions.

According to the Minister of Finance, this appreciation is a symbol that the government pays special attention to the role of all parties in its contribution to the country.

"This is not a placard issue, but this is a symbol of our joint efforts in building a culture to maintain state assets as a public responsibility," he said in Jakarta on Wednesday, November 23.

The Minister of Finance added that the 2022 Bandha Reksa Award is expected to continue to increase the motivation of all stakeholders in the field of managing state assets and auctions to continue to optimize the use of assets.

"Good asset management reflects the ability of a country to plan well, and reflects how K/L manages development with good quality because it reflects intergenerational care," he said.

He also said that state-owned goods (BMN) are inseparable components from the implementation of government duties, government support, public services, and national economic equality. According to the Minister of Finance, BMN will be able to benefit from it and will continue to grow along with the growth of the nation's economy.

"How do we plan neatly, execute it neatly, get it and build it neatly, and then convey to the people that this will continue to be useful next. So that often the funds from taxes, from non-tax revenues, which we manage and have produced assets are greater than the cost of building them," he stressed.

For information, Anugerah Reksa Bandha consists of five award categories in the field of BMN management and four categories in the auction sector.

Meanwhile, the BMN value that has been used as an underlying SBSN asset until the third quarter of 2022 is IDR 1,106.7 trillion. Through this SBSN, the government can fulfill some of the financing needs of the APBN to support expansive fiscal policies.

Meanwhile, the auction performance in the last five years has also reached the auction principal of IDR 101 trillion and the auction PNBP of IDR 2.24 trillion.

"Contribution and synergy of stakeholders in supporting the optimization of auctions play an important role in achieving auction performance to support the national economy," closed the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
