Honda Launches The Latest SP160 Motorcycle, Take A Peek At The Specification Update

JAKARTA - Ahead of the closing of 2024, Honda made a breakthrough by introducing his newest motorbike.

Launching from Autocar India, Thursday, December 26, the big brother of SP125 received an upgrade with the presence of a 4.2-inch TFT screen which now has Bluetooth connectivity from its users' devices.

In addition, motorcycle users are also made easier by the presence of a USB-C charging port that is useful for charging sophisticated phones while on the way.

Despite some changes, SP160 has the same engine as before, namely a single cylinder of 162.71 cc which has up to 13.2 dk of power and a torque of 14.8 Nm.

Of course, some of these numbers are slightly different from last year's version which reached 13.5 dk of power and 14.58 Nm of peak torque.

The engine performance is assisted by Multiple Wet Clunch five accelerations and synergizes with the PGM-FI fuel system which is known to have fuel ownership.

The Japanese manufacturer also maintains a disk 276 mm braking system on the front and a 220 mm disc and 130 mm drums on the back. It is also supported by front tires 80/100-17M/C and back 130/70-17M/C.

Meanwhile, the control of the motorbike is assisted by a telescopic suspension on the front and a monoshock suspension for the back.

The Honda SP160 is available in a number of color choices, consisting of Pearl Igneous Black, PearlUNGy Red, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Matte Dark Blue Metallic, and Matte Axis Gray Metallic.

The motorbike is priced starting at 121,951 rupees (Rp23.1 million) for single disk types and 127,956 rupees (Rp24.2 million) for double disks. Thus, the price of SP160 rose by 3,000 rupees (Rp569.5 thousand) and 4,605 rupees (Rp874.3 thousand) in each variant.
