JAKARTA - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is offering incentives for licensing building rights (HGB) for up to 80 years and even up to 160 years for investors in the Nusantara Capital (IKN).

"Indeed, our plan is to give investors one permit for 80 years," said ATR/BPN Minister Hadi Tjahjanto as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 10.

Hadi said that the 80-year HGB permit was carried out to make it easier for investors to invest in IKN. The 80-year HGB is divided into three stages, namely the first phase for 30 years, the second phase for 30 years, and the third phase for 20 years, bringing the total to 80 years.

He explained that the HGB permit for 80 years could still be extended for another 80 years if it was felt that its use was very beneficial for the community.

"Because of the 80-year HGB, if it is still used properly and for the benefit of the community, we can still extend it for another 80 years, up to 160. But we will allow it for 80 years which we will provide convenience," said Hadi.

Hadi also explained that the Ministry of ATR/BPN has also completed four regional spatial planning plans (RDTR) in IKN which will be submitted to the IKN Authority for immediate approval. Furthermore, as many as five regions are in the RDTR process which is targeted to be completed by the end of 2022.

Hadi emphasized that the Ministry of ATR/BPN will provide facilities related to land, spatial planning, and business licensing in the IKN area which will then be submitted to the IKN Authority.

"We will carry out everything, and we will hand it over to the Head of the IKN Authority, including RDTR, spatial planning, land issues, later we will also help, and we will hand it over to the Head of the IKN Authority," said Hadi.
