KULON PROGO - A total of 47,471 Beneficiary Families (KPM) in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) have received the benefits of Direct Fuel Oil Cash Assistance (BLT BBM) distributed by PT Pos Indonesia.
Head of the Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Dinsos-P3A) Kulon Progo Yohanes Irianta said that there were still thousands of KPMs who had not received assistance due to the increase in fuel prices at the nearest post office.
"The remaining 1,108 KPMs have not been taken yet. They are in the process of being delivered and looking for information on why they haven't taken social support," said Irianta, as quoted from Antara, Tuesday, September 20.
He said that technically the distribution of social assistance had no problems. However, there are records of KPM coming ahead of schedule.
"This needs to be considered for post office locations with high traffic levels," he said.
Furthermore, Irianta said that the appeal to KPM amounting to IDR 300,000 was spent on basic needs.
