JAKARTA - Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics (SH IML) PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) is optimistic that the achievement of using the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in 2022 can exceed the target.

This year, PIS targets the overall TKDN in Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics to reach 30 percent for the category of goods and services.

According to PIS data, until May 2022 the commitment to use TKDN goods has reached 38 percent.

This value is up from the achievement of the TKDN Commitment for goods in 2021 which is only 21.4 percent. Commitment to using TKDN also increased for the service category.

TKDN services until May 2022 reached 77 percent, an increase compared to 2021 which was 70 percent.

"The use of TKDN is of course PIS's commitment to support Pertamina's plan to achieve the target of TKDN 50 percent in 2026," said PIS Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV Dumatubun, quoted on Tuesday, June 14.

In accordance with Government Regulation No. 29 of 2018 concerning Industrial Empowerment and other relevant Ministry regulations, PIS ensures that the utilization of TKDN runs optimally in line with the issuance of Guidelines for the Management of the Use of Domestic Products which are effective from 1 December 2020 from PT Pertamina (Persero).

"With this provision, PIS optimizes the requirements for implementing TKDN in the procurement process for goods, services, or a combination of the two," added Roberth.
