JAKARTA - The National Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) are cooperating in the process of taking action against violations. One of them is economic crime, especially the export of CPO (crude palm oil). In this collaboration, the National Police and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise will oversee the circulation of CPO. Supervision is carried out because the government temporarily prohibits the export of CPO until the availability of cooking oil and other derivatives is safe. This was conveyed by the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto, to reporters, Wednesday (27/4). Meanwhile, Director General of Customs and Excise, Askolani, said that this cooperation is a long-term commitment with the National Police so that the prosecution of violations will be maximized.
