JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati asked the government to re-evaluate the basic price of certain types of fuel (JBT) or subsidized fuel for diesel fuel and evaluate the number of fixed subsidies. This is because the basic price of subsidized diesel fuel (BBM) set by the government is IDR 500 per liter.
"In fact, the price in the field is 7,800. There is a difference of 7,300 with the compensation given," said Nicke in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission VII DPR RI, Tuesday, March 29.
According to her, this large difference has caused Pertamina's cash flow to be eroded because even though it will be replaced by the government, it will take a long time to disrupt the company's cash flow.
"Then it will be better if there is sustainability in energy security, so the mechanism needs to be repeated that does not burden cashflow because the number is quite large," continued Nicke.
Nicke also asked the government to issue a regulation regarding the allocation of subsidized fuel to prevent fraud in the field. Based on monitoring, she suspects that there has been a leak of diesel stocks to large industries such as mining and palm oil, causing a shortage of supplies.

Nicke said that the distribution of subsidized Solar from Pertamina's total Solar sales reached 93 percent.
"Perhaps there are more details so that they can be used as the basis for law enforcement in the field," said Nicke.
Nicke also proposed the use of the MyPertamina application so that the distribution of subsidized Solar in the field is right on target.
