MATARAM - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) immediately auctioned off the items given to the spectators by the racers during the MotoGP event at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Sudarmanto said, there were 11 items given by the racers to the audience that had been stored at the Mataram State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).

These items are ready to be auctioned in conjunction with the auction of micro, small and medium enterprises products.

"We are planning carefully because it is a rare item, there is a signed MotoGP racer's shirt, there is a hat, gloves and helmet," he was quoted as saying by Antara, Tuesday, March 29.

He said the valuables belonging to the MotoGP racer were collected by officers from the lucky spectators at the time of the Mandalika MotoGP. The collection process is assisted by the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA).

The auction process will be conducted nationwide so that everyone can bid. People who want to get the goods given by the racer can register at the Mataram KPKNL.

Prior to the auction, said Sudarmanto, the Mataram KPKNL was assisted by a team of expert appraisers from various associations, such as the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) who understands the value of automotive goods used by well-known racers.

"Later on, there will be a lower price that will be determined because the prices for these items are infinite, even though the marker costs Rp. 5,000, but it was the famous racers who crossed out," he said.

A number of MotoGP racers in action at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit gave racing equipment to the audience after the race.

Among them was Aprilia Racing's Aleix Espargaro, who gave helmets to the spectators in the stands. In addition, the racer from the Monster Energy Yamaha team, Fabio Quartararo, also threw his gloves at the spectators in the stands after the race on Sunday (20/3).
