JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno discussed the potential for cooperation in the creative economy sector with Moroccan Ambassador Ouadia Benabdellah because Indonesia and Morocco do not yet have a Memorandum of Understanding/MoU in this sector.
Sandiaga hopes that cooperation with Morocco can strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the tourism and creative economy sectors.
"Hopefully, we can work together and collaborate with each other in developing tourism and the creative economy in both countries," he said when meeting in Jakarta as in a press statement, Jakarta, Saturday.
Collaboration between Indonesia and Morocco is considered to be able to promote and present quality and sustainable tourism.
One of the potential cooperation discussed by the two countries is to discuss the potential for cooperation in the organization of international events.

Moroccan Ambassador to Indonesia Ouadia Benabdellah said that Moroccan tourists have something in common with Indonesian tourists, namely, they tend to stay long enough in the destination country and buy creative economy products.
