North Sumatra Today: 32 Regions Become COVID-19 Yellow Zones

MEDAN - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force stated that 32 districts/cities in North Sumatra Province are currently in the yellow zone category or low risk in the spread of COVID-19.

This condition was quoted from the official website of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force at covid19.go id in Medan, Saturday, based on data up to September 25, 2021.

The 32 regencies/cities in North Sumatra that fall into the yellow zone category are Pakpak Bharat, Samosir, West Nias, Tanjung Balai, Labuhanbatu, Mandailing Natal, Padang Lawas, Gunung Sitoli.

Then, Central Tapanuli, Nias, Deli Serdang, Dairi, Toba Samosir, North Padang Lawas, South Tapanuli, Langkat, North Tapanuli, Padangsidempuan, Binjai, North Nias, Humbang Hasundutan, Simalungun, Karo.

South Labuhan Batu, Sibolga, Medan, North Labuhan Batu, Batu Bara and Serdang Bedagai.

From this data, there is only one area in North Sumatra that is included in the orange zone category (moderate risk) of the spread of COVID-19 out of a total of 33 districts/cities in North Sumatra, namely Cliff City. This was reported by Antara, Sunday, September 26.
