CIBINONG - The Bogor Regency Government, West Java, is moving to improve the security system in the Pakansari Stadium parking area. This step was taken by improving lighting facilities and strengthening surveillance following numerous complaints from the public regarding the prevalence of cases of lost helmets and valuables belonging to visitors.

Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for Facilities and Infrastructure for Dispora, Bogor Regency, Sairan, stated that his party had identified a number of weak points that needed to be immediately repaired, especially the lighting sector in the parking area which was considered still minimal.

"We recognize that the parking area still needs improved lighting. Therefore, we have proposed the addition of lighting facilities as a priority step to support security in the Pakansari Stadium area," said Sairan, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, June 19.

In addition to adding lighting, UPT Pakansari Stadium will also work with third parties as parking managers to evaluate the total mechanism for monitoring vehicles on the field. Sairan emphasized that every lost report that has been received has always been forwarded to the parking manager to be resolved in accordance with the applicable regulations.

"Every report that comes in, we always convey to the manager so that it can be handled immediately. In the future, we want to ensure that the parking surveillance and service system can be better so that people feel safer when they are active in Pakansari," he said.

As part of strengthening the digital security system, the Bogor Regency Government also plans to expand the coverage of surveillance cameras (CCTV) at vulnerable points around the stadium. This improvement in security infrastructure is being rushed because Pakansari Stadium will host various sports agendas and major events in the near future.

Despite the tightened surveillance, Sairan still asked visitors to be vigilant and take care of their belongings independently.

"We hope that the public will remain vigilant and jointly maintain security. Meanwhile, we will continue to coordinate with the management so that various public input and complaints can be followed up through concrete improvement measures," said Sairan.
