JAKARTA - The patrol team of the Koops TNI Habema Task Force secured five types of firearms from the Kodap III/Ndugama Armed Criminal Group (KKB) Headquarters in the Kalimin Complex, Papua Mountains.

Kapen Koops TNI Habema Lieutenant Colonel Inf Wirya Arthadiguna said that five guns and other evidence were secured after the team found the temporary headquarters of the KKB led by Army Kogoya (Danyon Aluguru), and Wariambo Wandikbo (Wadanops Kodap III/Ndugama).

The discovery of the KKB headquarters occurred after the Koops TNI Habema Task Force carried out a security patrol in the Kalimin complex area, which was carried out to maintain stability and narrow the movement space of the Kodap III/Ndugama KKB armed group, Nduga District, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountain Province.

"Before finding the headquarters, the team conducted a search since April 13," said Lieutenant Colonel Inf Wirya as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 15.

The evidence seized was one revolver pistol with serial number, RL-V1 38 Special, four air guns, 7 9 mm caliber ammunition, 40 mm GLM ammunition and 5.56 mm ammunition, one AK magazine, one HK magazine and 50 air gun ammunition.

In addition, other evidence was also found such as the star kejora flag, several sharp weapons in the form of machetes and axes, communication tools in the form of HT and mobile phones, binoculars, bows and arrows, solar cells, and other supporting equipment.

"The success of the patrol is part of the TNI's ongoing efforts to suppress the movement of armed groups, as well as ensuring that the community can carry out activities with a sense of security without pressure and interference," said Lieutenant Colonel Inf Wirya.
