Jakarta - Daan Mogot Highway, West Jakarta, on Saturday morning was able to be crossed by vehicles, although there were still remnants of flooding.

At the location at 08.30 WIB, the water level on Jalan Daan Mogot KM 13 had decreased to 10-15 centimeters (cm).

Vehicle traffic from Pesing to Tangerang and vice versa was also observed to be busy and smooth.

However, the busway line towards Kalideres is still not traversable because of the many concrete separators that collapsed due to the impact of the flood.

Cengkareng Police Traffic Unit (PanitLantas) officer, Iptu Tugiyonomen, explained that the current puddle condition has decreased significantly compared to the last two days.

For the waterlogging on Jalan Daan Mogot, especially at KM 13 towards Tangerang, the current water level is around ten to fifteen centimeters.

"Vehicles from Jakarta and vice versa can pass, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled," said Tugiyono.

Regarding the condition of the busway separator that was in a mess, the Police have coordinated with Transjakarta.

"For the busway separator, it will be handled by a team from Transjakarta to repair the barriers that were damaged by puddles and waves," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, January 24.

He also ensured that there was no more traffic diversion. "For today there is no contra flow or traffic diversion because the water has receded," he said.

It is known that on Thursday (22/1) to Friday (23/1) the Jalan Daan Mogot section was flooded with a height of 20-70 cm due to the high intensity of rainfall and the overflow of the Mookervart River. This caused the Jalan Daan Mogot to be jammed for hours.
