Wind Rain Until Friday Night, 13 Trees In Jakarta Fall

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded that 13 trees fell due to rain flushed the Jakarta area from afternoon until evening. Dozens of fallen trees are located in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta.

"The cause of the fallen tree is heavy rain and strong winds," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Pusdatin M. Yohan in his statement, Friday, December 12.

The details of the fallen tree are as follows: 1. West Jakarta- Jl. In THR Losani RT. 002 RW. 002 Kel. Tank, Kec. Tamansari

- Jl. Sawah Lio Raya RT. 001 RW. 006, Kel. Jembatan Lima, Kec. Tambora

- Jl. East Lio Tank RW. 003 Kel. Tank, Kec. Tamansari

- Jl. Semanan Water Gate RT. 008 RW. 012 Kel. Duri Kosambi, Kec. Cengkareng

- Jl. North Krendang, RT.0003 RW.008, Kel. Jembatan Lima, Kec. Tambora

2. Central Jakarta- Jl. Kimia, RT. 010 RW. 001 Kel. Pegangsaan, Kec. Menteng

- Jl. Garuda, Kel. Gunung Sahari Selatan, Kec. Kemayoran

- Jl. Wahidin No.2 RT. 003 RW. 008, Kel. Pasar Baru, Kec. Sawah Besar

3. North Jakarta Jl. Tanah Pasir, RT. 001 RW. 009 Kel. Penjaringan, Kec. Penjaringan

Dozens of fallen trees fell on 1 garbage dump, 1 road access, 2 power lines, 1 repair shop roof, and 1 car unit.

"Several trees have been handled. Some are being handled by firefighters, Parks Sub-Department, BPBD TRC, PLN, and village PPSU," said Yohan.

As of 19.00 WIB, the DKI BPBD also noted that 10 RTs were flooded and a number of trees fell due to rain flushed the capital. Then, one road was flooded, namely on Jalan Poltangan Raya, Tanjung Barat Village, South Jakarta with a water level

The ten RTs that were flooded were in South Jakarta, with details of 9 RTs in Pela Mampang Village and 1 RT in West Cilandak Village with water levels of 40 to 60 centimeters.

"The cause of the high rainfall inundation, the overflow of Krukut River, and the overflow of Mampang River," said Yohan.
