JAKARTA - The 212 Grand Reunion at the National Monument (Monas), Gambir, Central Jakarta produces 26.43 tons of waste with various types on Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025.

Head of the Central Jakarta Environment Sub-dept., Slamet Riyadi, said that his party deployed 600 cleaners to clean up trash in the Monas area.

Types of waste transported vary in type, but the majority of waste is plastic.

"The types are like plastic leftover food, food wrappers, bottled plastic water bottles, cigarette butts," Slamet said when confirmed.

As many as 600 officers were deployed from all areas in Jakarta. As for 150 officers from Central Jakarta, West Jakarta 75 people, North Jakarta 75 people, South Jakarta 75 people, East Jakarta there are 75 people and air agency UPS 150 people.

Meanwhile, there were 20 units of garbage transport, 20 units of garbage trucks, 6 units of roadsweepers, 6 units of clean tanker trucks. Then 6 units of dirty water trucks, 13 units of cross cars, 22 units of toilet buses and 600 plastic bags.

In addition, the amount of waste transported from inside Monas to all Medan Merdeka Street did not escape the cleaning of officers in the field.

Garbage transportation starts from 00.00 WIB to early Wednesday morning at around 03.00 WIB.

"All the garbage was brought to the Monas TPS first which was then brought to the Bantargebang TPS," he said.
