Ijtima Ulama 2025 In Lampung, Participants From Various Regions Start Coming

JAKARTA - Pilgrims from various regions in Indonesia began arriving at the Ijtima Ulama 2025 location in Kota Baru, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, Friday, November 28.

Various buses with a capacity of 50-60 people per fleet come from various regions entering the Ijtima location yard to lower the congregation.

"Yes, I came here (Ijtima 2025) recently with a group from Bogor," said one of the participants from Bogor, Kasdi, in South Lampung, Friday, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said his group who came to Ijtima 2025 totaled 14 buses, departing from Bogor on Thursday 27 November.

"Thursday (November 27) we left until this morning. The journey was smooth, but at Merak Port it was jammed because many buses from areas wanted to cross to Lampung," he said.

He hopes that through this activity Indonesia can be safe and kept away from harm and natural disasters.

"This activity has many kiai and ulama, hopefully Indonesia will be safer and there will be no more disasters," he said.

Another Ijtima participant, from Banten, Mulyadi, said that he had departed with his entourage since Thursday, November 27, and had just arrived at that place to participate in the activity.

"Earlier in our group there was one bus and a number of private cars," he said.

He admitted that he participated in this activity to improve himself as an effort to be responsible for the people of the Prophet Muhammad.

"This is also an effort to da'wah throughout nature as a people of the Prophet Muhammad SAW," he said.

He hopes that this activity will be the cause of the decline of guidance to all living things in the world, especially humans.

"This benefit is the most important because if people without guidance will certainly get lost," he said.

The 2025 World Ulema Ijtima will be held in Lampung Province from November 28-30. In the event, there were activities, such as tausiah and iktikaf to increase the congregation's faith.
