Police Are Still Waiting For DNA Test Results In Alvaro's Framework Finding Case

JAKARTA - Police are still waiting for the results of a skeleton DNA test that is suspected to be Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6), a boy who has been missing since March 2025. Comparative samples for DNA tests were only taken by the National Police Laboratory on Tuesday.

It is known, in the search for Alvaro, the police found a human skeleton that is strongly suspected of being Alvaro. The skeleton was found on Sunday, November 23, 2025, on the banks of the Clalay river, Tenjo, Bogor Regency, West Java.

"For the results of Ante Mortem and DNA tests, the comparison sample was only taken yesterday," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

Budi emphasized that his party would convey the results of the DNA test after the process carried out by the Poslabfor Police Hospital, Keramat Jati.

"We are still waiting for the process and also information from the Puslabfor and the Police Hospital, which we will convey as soon as possible the results," he concluded.

Previously, Tugimin, 71, Alvaro's grandfather said that Alvaro's mother, Arumi, had provided DNA samples to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta for a match on Monday night, November 24, 2025. Now, the family is waiting for the results from the police.

Tugimin did not know for sure when the DNA test would come out, because the police did not provide certainty. However, according to Tugimin, the police prioritized the results so that the results could come out as soon as possible.

Tugimin admitted that he had prepared the tomb for Alvaro in the land of the Al-Muflihun Mosque waqf, which is not far from home, so that he could take maximum care of it.

It is known that Alvaro's mother, Arumi, arrived from Malaysia on Monday afternoon, November 24, 2025. Her mother was devastated by the incident that killed her child by her own husband.
