Supreme Court Rejects Mario Dandy's Cassation In AG Obscenity Case

JAKARTA - The Supreme Court (MA) rejected Mario Dandy Satrio's appeal in the case of sexual abuse of minors, AG, his ex-girlfriend.

This decision was echoed by Supreme Court Justice Dwiarso Budi Santiarto as chairman of the assembly along with two members, Yanto and Achmad Setyo Pudjoharsoyo, on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

In this case, the South Jakarta District Court stated that Mario Dandy was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of persuading a child to have intercourse which was carried out continuously.

Therefore, the panel of judges at the first instance sentenced Mario Dandy to two years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, subsidiary to two months in prison.

The case continues to the appeal level. However, the panel of judges at the DKI Jakarta High Court, chaired by Istiningsih Rahayu, disguised the verdict because this case involved minors.

Mario Dandy is the son of Rafael Alun Trisambodo, a former official of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance who later became convicted of gratification and money laundering (TPPU) cases.

Mario Dandy's name emerged after the case of abuse went viral on social media. David Ozora, a victim of persecution, suffered serious injuries.

In that case, Mario Dandy was sentenced to 12 years in prison and paid restitution of Rp. 25,140,161,900 by the South Jakarta District Court.

Mario had filed an appeal and cassation, but both of his legal remedies ran aground. The panel of appeal judges upheld the decision of the first court, while their appeal was rejected by the Supreme Court.

Apart from Mario Dandy, two other defendants who were involved in the persecution have also been sentenced, namely AG was sentenced to three years and six months in prison and Shane Lukas was sentenced to five years in prison.

Along with the investigation into the abuse case, Mario Dandy was reported on suspicion of molestation by AG (15) who was his girlfriend when the persecution took place. Mario Dandy was later named a suspect.
