Examination Of Alvaro's Body At The Police Hospital To Know Family DNA

JAKARTA - The human skeleton suspected of being the body of Alvaro Kiano Nugroho underwent an identification process in the forensic room of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital (RS), East Jakarta, Monday, November 24. The human skeleton arrived at the Police Hospital since Sunday night at around 23.30 WIB.

The skeleton was brought by investigators from the Pesanggrahan Police and the South Jakarta Police from the location of the discovery around the Cilalay Tenjo river, Bogor.

The identification process is carried out through several stages including conducting DNA examinations.

The head of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Brigadier General Prima Heru, said that currently the forensic medical team was still investigating the human skeleton findings.

"We are currently in the process of being investigated. An external and internal examination is being carried out," he said when confirmed, Monday, November 24.

However, until now, the arrival of the parents of the Alvaro boy at the DVI post at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, has not been seen for DNA examination.

Previously, the police again took further steps regarding the disappearance of Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6). After eight months of not being found since being reported missing in March 2025, officers are now conducting DNA tests on the human skeleton found in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, which is strongly suspected to be the body of the boy.

"The human skeleton was just found which is suspected to be Alvaro," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, Sunday.

Nicolas explained that the identification process must be carried out thoroughly through DNA tests in the forensic laboratory.

This examination is important to ensure identity match because DNA contains genetic material that is unique to each individual.

Furthermore, the South Jakarta Metro Police secured a man related to the case of the disappearance of Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6).

The man is Alvaro's stepfather and is suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of the boy.

"The perpetrator is Alvaro's stepfather," said South Jakarta Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Lilipaly, in his statement, Monday, November 24.
