Jokowi Should Emit Arsul Sani's Steps In The Case Of False Allegations Of Diplomas

JAKARTA Constitutional law expert, Denny Indrayana assessed that the polemic of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia's diploma, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), which is still a public debate and has led to the determination of Roy Suryo and seven other people as suspects in the alleged fake diploma case, will be completed if they imitate the steps taken by the Constitutional Court Judge, Arsul Sani.

According to him, all the evidence carried out by the apparatus and Jokowi's supporters will not mean that as long as Jokowi himself does not open and show his real diploma to the public.

"Even a million pieces of evidence have lost meaning, when Jokowi continued to argue that he did not want to show his real diploma," Denny wrote on his social media account as seen on Sunday, November 23.

He then compared Jokowi's attitude with Arsul Sani who was also accused of having a fake doctoral diploma. Arsul dared to be outspoken by showing photos of his original graduation and diploma as well as a photocopy of the legalization of his doctorate from Collegiam Humanum or Warsaw Management University Poland to dismiss the allegation.

"Even though the problem is easy, like Arsul Sani without a trial process, without a criminal process, he clearly shows his doctoral diploma," he added.

Denny said that Jokowi should have imitated the steps taken by Arsul Sani by choosing to appear open and immediately showing his diploma and legal documents without waiting for the legal process to run.

"Indeed, in the end it looks different classes. One is a statesman, the other serves only for the personal interests and his family," he said.
