Black Audi A8L Luxury Car Breaks Through TB Simatupang Toll Gate, Netizens: Lose To Cars

A black Audi car went viral through the TB Simatupang toll gate, heading to the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) toll road in South Jakarta. After going viral, the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya conducted an investigation.

"It has been monitored and checking is being carried out," said Head of Highway Patrol (PJR) of the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie when confirmed, Wednesday, November 19.

Dhanar also explained that his party had conducted an inspection regarding the vehicle number, but had not been able to describe in detail who the owner of the vehicle was.

"Meanwhile (vehicle number checks) are being carried out," he said.

Based on the video seen on Instagram uploaded by the @dashcam_owners_indonesia account, a black sedan followed a pickup car in front of it to do a "tap" at the toll gate.

However, after the pickup car carried out a "tap", the Audi car was seen narrowing and breaking through the toll gate and immediately stepped on the gas to avoid payment.

"In the class of Audi A8L, there is a turbocharged V6 machine, yes, you don't have that money to pay for the 17 thousand rupiah toll road, you lose to a car like that," wrote the account.

Sanctions that can be imposed on these violations, based on ANTARA's search, if referring to Article 287 paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, the driver has the potential to be subject to a maximum imprisonment of two months or a maximum fine of IDR 500,000.
