JAKARTA - The family of the late Head of the BUMN Bank Mohamad Ilham Pradipta (37) demanded that the kidnappers be charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code or premeditated murder.

This was conveyed by the family's attorney, Tati Suryati, who was present and immediately witnessed the reconstruction scene of 17 suspects, in the courtyard of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Building, Monday, November 17, 2025.

"We are here to provide support to Polda Metro Jaya, because the family continues to demand the application of the premeditated murder article," he told the media.

Meanwhile, the victim's brother, Taufan Maulana, assessed that the reconstruction strengthened the suspicion that there was an element of intent. He considered that the torture and abuse carried out so systematically made the chances of survivors very small.

"It is difficult to say there is no element of self-isolation in this case. Due to a mature and long series of plans, and there was no attempt to save our late brother to be saved," he said.

Taufan emphasized that the perpetrators must be given severe punishment. He hopes that similar cases will not be repeated in the future.

"Anyone in my sister's position can confirm that 99 percent will definitely die," he added.

Taufan also hopes that the public will continue to oversee the legal process so that the premeditated murder article is actually applied.

"This should not be repeated, it is enough for my younger brother to bully him because the integrity he has is extraordinary," he said.
