Operation Zebra Jaya 2025 Will Be Held Today Until The End Of November 2025

Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin, gave a statement to the media at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (17/11/2025).

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya officially held Operation Zebra Jaya 2025 for 14 days, from Monday, November 17 to Sunday, November 30. Thousands of joint personnel were deployed for the traffic order enforcement operation.

Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin, said as many as 2,939 personnel from elements of the National Police, TNI Pom, and the Transportation Service were deployed.

"We will hold the strength of 2,939 personnel throughout the region, from the National Police together with Polm TNI to the Transportation Service," he said after the troop deployment at the Polda Metro Jaya Ditlantas Field, South Jakarta.

Komarudin emphasized that the action in Operation Zebra Jaya 2025 was no longer carried out in a conventional way or stationary raid. This year, officers implemented a hunting system pattern.

"Joint officers will comb roads where there are many violations," he said.

The action is outside 127 roads that have been monitored by E-TLE cameras. In addition, the activity of mobile E-TLE will also be maximized throughout the operation. Komarudin explained that the E-TLE mobile can capture (capture) violations from the front and rear of the vehicle.

"This is to target the phenomenon of vehicle violations without TNKB, especially two-wheelers, which tend to be deliberately removed to avoid E-TLE cameras," he said.

He said the Zebra Operation target this year was a violation of the naked eye. The operation was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia.

"The target is to reduce the number of traffic violations. The violations targeted include the use of helmets and exhausts that do not match the spectra," he explained.

Komarudin added that prosecution in the form of a ticket will be given to violations that have the potential to cause traffic accidents.

"Through the red light, it exceeds the speed limit that we usually know about illegal racing, and bronx exhausts. For this we don't use reprimands anymore, we will immediately ticket," he said.

All officers in the Polda Metro Jaya area will carry out mobile patrols.

"If a violation is found, it will be seen whether it is enough with a warning of sympathy or if it must be ticketed," he said.
