The results of the investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Penjaringan Metro Police against a fake police officer named Dandi Maulana alias Muhammad Yusuf Maulana alias Dobleh (25), it turns out that the suspect has committed a similar crime 4 times.

"The perpetrator has carried out his actions as a fake police officer four times in the jurisdiction of the North Jakarta Metro Police," said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Erick Frendriz, Thursday, November 13.

Three crimes claiming to be police were carried out in the Penjaringan area and once in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta.

"The perpetrator made an id card in the scouting area on the grounds that he wanted to feel dashing," he said.

In addition, the perpetrator also bought airsoftgun through online sales for IDR 2 million.

Even from the results of the investigation by investigators, the suspect Dobleh is a recidivist in the case of car fraud and motorcycle robbery.

"The suspect is a recidivist. Twice in the case of illegal car fraud in 2020 in Kalideres, West Jakarta. Then he committed theft with violence against motorbikes in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta," he said.

In each of his crimes, the suspect Dobleh often claims to be a member of the National Police who serves at the Narcotics Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police.

"He was looking for the victim on the grounds that he borrowed a motorbike to catch drugs, after that the suspect fled and did not return the motorbike," he said.

The suspect was charged with Article 378 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 5 years in prison.

Previously, it was reported that the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Penjaringan Metro Police arrested a fake police officer who carried out fraud and embezzlement mode in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta.

The perpetrator is known as Dandi Maulana alias Muhammad Yusuf Maulana alias Dobleh (25), a resident of Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The Head of the Penjaringan Metro Police, AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya, said the perpetrator carried out the action by pretending to be a member of the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Directorate.

"The perpetrator stopped the victim who works as an online motorcycle taxi, then asked to be escorted to the Kalijodo area under the pretext of arresting a drug case," AKBP Agus told reporters, Thursday, November 6.

Arriving at the location, the perpetrator borrowed the victim's motorbike and cell phone with the excuse of going after the drug offender. But then fled and did not return.
