Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, revealed the reason why the peak celebration of the 14th Anniversary of NasDem was held simply at NasDem Tower, Central Jakarta, today.

According to Surya, the simplicity of this form of commemoration of the party's birthday is a reflection of the atmosphere of the party's struggle which remains enthusiastic amid various national political challenges.

"Why this year the celebration was carried out simply This is our atmosphere. The atmosphere we really think about, even in a simple atmosphere like this, does not lack the meaning of how grateful and happy we are because we have achieved what we have achieved today," said Surya at NasDem Tower, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 11th.

According to Surya, this simplicity illustrates the party's attitude that is not far from the community's situation. He considered that the atmosphere of the national struggle is still full of dynamics, so celebrations are adjusted to these conditions.

"We think that the atmosphere of our national struggle today is full of struggles, the struggle itself. We take the theme to remain consistent in the current carrying the movement of the flow of change to inspire, not only for NasDem cadres to be able to really feel the pulse meaning of the mission. the struggle for this party, and give meaning, implications, consequences that they must run as cadres and members of this party," he said.

In this year's anniversary momentum, Surya emphasized that NasDem wanted to present the face of the party close to the community through a series of social activities that had been running since October. The program includes national blood donation, free health checks, as well as visits to orphanages and nursing homes in various regions.

"Several programs are included in the 14th anniversary. Since one month ago there have been social service activities ranging from blood donation, including the distribution of basic necessities, and various other social activities carried out," said Surya.

Surya claims, this social activity is a tangible form of the role of political parties in providing direct benefits to the community.

"Itu memang merupakan sebuah policy, kebijakan yang memang kita menyadari sekali adalah bagian dan partisipasi kehadiran kita sebagai institusi partai politik untuk memberikan sedikit banyak banyaknya, beberapa arti kemudahan yang kita dapat dapat dirasakan dan diperoleh para kader masyarakat secara luas," tutur dia.

On that occasion, Surya reminded the cadres that the 14th Anniversary be a momentum to strengthen the spirit and commitment of NasDem's struggle. He said he was optimistic that his party was ready to face the 2029 General Election.

NasDem, he continued, will try to maintain and even increase the political achievements that have been achieved from the previous three elections.

"We are optimistic that in the future in our readiness to face the 2029 General Election. The NasDem Party will certainly make full efforts so that the achievements that have been achieved from the three elections that have been passed can be maintained at least," explained Surya.

"Hopefully with hope, with seriousness the output of its performance will be carried out, with the right strategy, with the militancy of its cadres, the upcoming 2029 election, God willing, so that a much larger message can be conveyed by this party," he continued.
