Head Of Auditor Of BPK Padang Pamungkas Examined Regarding Corruption Investigation At KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined Padang Pamungkas on Thursday, October 16 yesterday. The Head of Auditorat Keuangan Negara (AKN) IV of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) was questioned for about 8 hours.

The name Padang Pamungkas is not on the schedule for examining witnesses in the alleged corruption investigation at the anti-corruption commission. However, the KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo confirmed the request for information.

"It is true that there was an examination," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo when confirmed, Friday, October 17.

Even so, Budi could not detail the examination material being investigated. This is because the alleged corruption is still under investigation.

The KPK is known to have carried out stages of investigating suspected corruption behind closed doors. "Regarding what (the examination, ed) we have not been able to convey," said Budi.

Similarly, the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, also admitted that he could not reveal the alleged corruption that was being investigated and needed Padang's statement. He only stated that this case would go up to investigation if there was sufficient evidence.

"I make sure that the evidence is strong, it will definitely (up, red) to the investigation," concluded Fitroh.
