Jabodetabek Weather Cloudy Throughout The Day, Temperature Reaches 30 Degrees Celsius

JAKARTA The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jabodetabek area on Thursday, October 16, 2025, will be dominated by cloudy to cloudy conditions throughout the day.

Although there is no specific warning regarding heavy rain, the public is advised to remain aware of the potential for local rain that can occur in the afternoon until the evening.

The air temperature in DKI Jakarta and its surroundings is estimated to range from 28 to 30 degrees Celsius with humidity of around 61 to 70 percent.

Air conditions feel quite moist with the potential for increasing convective clouds in the afternoon to evening.

BMKG said, during the transition period to the rainy season as it is today, the intensity of rain has the potential to increase in a number of areas, including Jabodetabek.

Therefore, the public is asked to remain alert to sudden weather changes and potential extreme weather such as rain accompanied by strong winds.

Although in general the weather in Jakarta is relatively stable, some areas in Bogor, Depok, and Tangerang have the opportunity to experience light rain in the late afternoon. In Bekasi, the weather is predicted to tend to be cloudy with the possibility of drizzling briefly at several points.

BMKG urges the public to bring umbrellas or light raincoats when doing activities outdoors and continue to monitor the latest weather information through the official BMKG channel.
