Palestinian Prisoner Bus Out Of Israeli Prison In West Bank Towards Liberation In Khan Younis

JAKARTA - Prisoners of Palestine who were locked up at the Israeli Offer Correctional Institution (Lapas) were transferred today, Monday, October 13.

According to Al Jazeera's video footage, a number of white buses were escorted by Israeli officials leaving the Offer Prison in Israel's occupied West Bank today.

The bus's windshield features a poster bearing the International Red Cross logo that connects the release of Israeli and Palestinian hostages before being given to both parties in conflict.

The media said the convoy of prisoners or Palestinian hostages detained by Israel headed for Khan Younis, the city located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The video also shows the situation in Khan Younis has been filled with Palestinians who are ready to welcome the release of prisoners.

Under the initial Israeli-Hamas ceasefire deal initiated by the US, nearly 2.000 hostages will be released.

According to the United Nations, many Palestinian prisoners were forcibly removed from Gaza during the Israeli military invasion.
