JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Health Office in collaboration with One Stop Integrated Services (PTSP) has accelerated the issuance of a Sanitation Higiene Certificate (SLHS) for a Free Nutrition Food Kitchen (MBG) to ensure safe and feasible food processing for students.
"We are collaborating with SPPG including PTSP to accelerate the issuance of SLHS. So massively we will conduct a re-environmental health inspection," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Ani Ruspitawati, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 4.
He said that from the start he had conducted an inspection of the MBG kitchen and encouraged them to accelerate the fulfillment of SLHS requirements so that certificates could be issued.
Until now, there is no MBG kitchen or Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in Jakarta that has SLHS. All of them or 180 MBG kitchens are still in the process of getting SLHS.
"If there are no certificate-based ones, all of them are in process," said Ani.
Last September, the central government required every SPPG to have an absolute requirement, not just an administrative one.
This is a follow-up to the Extraordinary Event (KLB) that occurred in several locations of the MBG Priority Program.
In Jakarta, as many as 60 students from 10 locations in Jakarta have food poisoning from the MBG Program. Based on laboratory results, most of the causes are bacteria.

The Minister of Health targets this acceleration to be completed within a month. Therefore, local governments and BGN are involved to oversee the food preparation process, starting from the selection of raw materials, processing to serving food.
He said that as of last September, more than 100 MBG kitchens had SLHS.
