Gerindra Pati Ready To Propose Dismissal Of Regent Sudewo From The Party

The Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of the Gerindra Party, Pati Regency, Central Java, is ready to propose the dismissal of the member of Regent Pati Sudewo, from the Gerindra Party.

This promise responds to the pressure of the Pati community conveyed during a demonstration in front of the Pati DPRD building, Friday.

"We will submit a letter according to the demands of the United Pati Society (MPB) to the Gerindra Party DPP through the Central Java Gerindra Party DPD," said Gerindra DPC chairman Pati Hardi, during a meeting with the protesters with the Chairman of the DPRD Pati Ali Badrudin and his staff in front of the Pati DPRD building, Friday, September 19.

In addition to dismissal, residents also demanded a replacement of members of the Special Committee (Pansus) for the Pati DPRD's Letter Rights from the Gerindra faction, namely Irianto Budi Utomo, with other members also approved and immediately followed up.

"In principle, the Gerindra Party fully supports the Special Committee for the Budget Rights of the Pati DPRD which is currently underway. Of course, through a proposal mechanism from the faction to the leadership of the council," said Hardi who is also the deputy chairman of the Pati DPRD.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Pati Regency DPRD Ali Badrudin emphasized that his party together with all members of the council are committed to completing the Special Committee for the Pati DPRD's Letter Rights to completion.

"DPRD Pati will oversee and resolve this special committee as much as possible. We will not agree to the policy of the Regent of Sudewo if it is proven to have violated the law," he said.

He also said that the PDI-P as the majority party in the DPRD remains committed to defending Teguh Bandang Waluyo as Chairman of the Special Committee on Question Rights. However, according to the aspirations of the community, one of the Special Committee members of the PDI-P, Jokowi Yudi will also be replaced because he is considered to rarely attend meetings.

Demonstrations carried out by the Pati Bersatu Regency community alliance conveyed at least six points of prosecution. One of them is related to alleged violations of the law by the Regent of Sudewo, who is currently being investigated through the DPRD's Questionnaire Rights.

The DPRD and supporting parties expressed their commitment to follow up on all the aspirations of the community and maintain the integrity of the political process in Pati Regency.

Previously, protesters doubted the commitment of the members of the special committee in completing the right to inquiry because there were allegations of bombing.

Tristoni, the Pati Bersatu Community Advocacy Team, highlighted the allegation of the practice of defamation in the work of the Special Committee of the DPRD Pati.

According to him, the advocacy team found a number of evidences and information related to the allegation. However, his party confirmed that complete data could only be officially submitted at the advocacy team's office.

He assessed that the indications of bombing were clearly evident from the attitude of a number of members of the Special Committee who were considered passive.
