JAKARTA - The Indonesian Embassy in Tehran, Iran held the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at Wisma Duta Besar on Sunday.
The celebration, which began with the flag ceremony, was attended by hundreds of Indonesian citizens (WNI) from various cities in Iran, especially Tehran and Qom. Acting as Inspector of the Rolliansyah Ambassador Ceremony "Roy" Soemirat and Commander of the Defense Attache Ceremony Colonel Laut (S) Sony Sandra.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with various competitions attended by all Indonesian Embassy staff and Indonesian citizens who attended. Furthermore, Ambassador Roy on this occasion expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of Indonesian citizens to celebrate the anniversary of Indonesia's independence, especially in the midst of the dynamics of the current security situation in Iran which is still in the post-war recovery period for 12 days in June 2025 between Iran and Israel.
