JAKARTA - The Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) examined Bengkulu Governor Helmi Hasan as a witness in the alleged corruption case of leakage of local revenue (PAD) Mega Mall and the modern traditional market (PTM) of Bengkulu City.
Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, said the investigation was carried out by investigators from the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office at the Jampidsus building of the Attorney General's Office, South Jakarta.
"Incidentally, he is very cooperative in Jakarta and is willing to be investigated," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 30.
Helmi Hasan, he said, was examined for his capacity as Mayor of Bengkulu for the 2013'2023 period.
"The person concerned has served as Mayor of Bengkulu 2013 '2023," he said.
