Kristen Village Attacked By Israeli Settlements, German Ambassador: Extremistes Think God Gives Land To Them

JAKARTA - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) condemned the Israeli illegal settlers' attacks on Christian villages in Taybeh, West Bank on Monday, July 28.

Citing AFP, Monday, July 28, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the attack targeting the Palestinian Christian village an act of "committee terrorism".

In line with the Palestinian Foreign Ministry, the German Ambassador to Israel, Steffen Seibert also condemned this.

Steffen was surprised by the behavior of Israeli illegal settlers in the West Bank who considered the Palestinian-owned region a "promised" land so they could act unlawfully.

"These extremist settlers may claim that God gave them this land. However, they are just criminals who are disgusting to any religion," he wrote on his X social media account.

Israeli illegal Settlements attacked a Palestinian Christian village in Taybeh on Monday, July 28. They set fire to cars and sprayed graffiti containing threats in buildings of illegally occupied Palestinian territories.

Based on the impact of the damage, Israeli illegal settlers targeted the Palestinian property widely in Taybeh.

The Palestinian government agency on X shared graffiti photos from illegal settlers in one of the buildings in Taybeh that read: "Al-Mughayir, you will regret it," referring to a nearby village that was also attacked by settlers earlier this year.
