JAKARTA - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo's visit to France on July 13-15 confirmed the strategic partnership and implementation of the declaration of diplomatic relations between the two countries announced in Jakarta.

President Prabowo accepted French President Emmanuel Macron's invitation as an honorary guest at the military parade commemorating French National Day (Bastille Day) 2025 on Monday 14 July.

"After watching the parade from the royal box, President Prabowo held talks with President Macron about matters of common interest between the two countries, both in terms of bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation, on the sidelines of a private dinner at the Presidential Palace," said the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement, Tuesday, July 15.
