A 21-year-old Youth Stabbed Dead By Sajam In The Tanah Abang Dismantling Area

JAKARTA - The man with the initials MR (21) was found dead covered in blood at the railroad crossing (KA) in the localization area of Bongkaran, Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The victim died as a result of being stabbed by a sharp weapon (sharp weapon)

"The results of the check and medical information at Tarakan Hospital turned out that the victim (was taken to the hospital) was dead due to bleeding due to an open wound on the right side of the back," said Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, AKBP Haris Akhmat Basuki when confirmed, Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

The police chief explained that the incident was reported to have occurred on Monday night, July 14, 2025, at around 23.40 WIB. The initial report was that the victim fell on the high bridge pavement covered in blood. The victim was then evacuated to Tarakan Hospital.

"The team processed the crime scene by visiting the hospital and asking for information from a number of witnesses," he said.

Based on witness testimony, he saw the victim running towards a high bridge shouting for help.

"Please help me be stabbed (repeated screams)," he said imitating the victim's screams as heard by witnesses.

After the witness wanted to help, it turned out that the victim had fallen on the sidewalk. The victim was then evacuated to Tarakan Hospital, and the body was sent back to RSCM for an autopsy.
