JAKARTA - Member of Commission IX DPR RI Surya Utama or Uya Kuya has high hopes for the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program so that it can quickly reach more beneficiaries.

For this reason, Uya said the DPR and working partners of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) continue to promote the MBG program to provide nutrition strengthening for the community.

He said this when he participated in the socialization of MBG with the theme of realizing a healthy generation of Indonesia with DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD Member Astrid Khairunosha, National Nutrition Agency Representative Ade Tias Maulana, and Anyelir Puspa Kemala in Al-Ghazali, Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. Uya Kuya explained that the MBG program brought by the National Nutrition Agency was to prosper the future of Indonesian children.

Meanwhile, DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD member Astrid Khairunisha hopes that the MBG program is supported by all parties so that it can run quickly and be immediately enjoyed by the recipients of the program.

"Consumption of nutritious and healthy food is important for children, because by eating healthy and nutritious food, it will create children who are able to compete in the international arena," said Asrid.

Ade Tias Maulana added, as a representative of the National Nutrition Agency, he gave an explanation regarding the flow process of the MBG program, namely that one kitchen will serve 3000 students who are in schools around the kitchen.

Therefore, the addition of new kitchens in the future is highly expected so that this program can be immediately enjoyed by students throughout Indonesia, both public and private schools.

Similarly, Anyelir Puspa Kemala as a representative of BGN who was present through a zoom video conveyed the mechanism related to procedures to become a partner of the National Nutrition Agency in terms of making kitchens.
