The public prosecutor (JPU) of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) has officially appealed the decision handed down by the panel of judges to former Supreme Court (MA) official Zarof Ricar.
"For the defendant ZR (Zarof Ricar), the Public Prosecutor declared an appeal according to the deed on Tuesday, June 24, 2025," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) Attorney General Harli Siregar in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 25, as reported by Antara.

"So that a 20-year sentence has the potential to become a de facto life sentence," said Chief Justice Rosihan Juhriah Rangkuti.
