JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung admitted that he was considering the proposal of former DKI Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) to give shopping vouchers to ASN and residents who use public transportation.
"So one of the things, of course we do various breakthroughs, including what Mr. Ahok suggested to give vouchers, we consider," Pramono told reporters, Thursday, May 22.
However, Pramono still prioritizes the expansion of affordability of public transportation modes. One of them is Transjabodetabek which has now paved three routes, namely Alam Sutera-Blok M, Vida Bekasi-Cawang, and Blok M-PIK 2.
"What is clear is that seeing the development of both Alam Sutera-Blok M and Bekasi Vida to Cawang, the interest is extraordinary. And now almost all regional heads in West Java are asking to be connected, including the Mayor of Bogor," said Pramono.
Previously, Ahok admitted that he welcomed Pramono Anung's policy of requiring all employees of the DKI Provincial Government, including ASN, to use public transportation every Wednesday.
In fact, Ahok suggested that there be prizes for DKI ASN who comply with the policy by not using private vehicles from leaving until they return home.
"It's good. If you need to give a gift to go up, get a shopping voucher. Yes, yes. If you ride a public vehicle, you can get a shopping voucher. Yes," said Ahok at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, May 21.
This prize in the form of a voucher, according to Ahok, can motivate ASN to more regularly use public transportation in mobility. In fact, if necessary, the community is also given similar incentives so that Jakarta congestion can be more decomposed.
"Yes, please. You take public transportation, you can get a shopping voucher prize. Maybe you can propose it to the Governor," said Ahok.
It is known, in Ingub Number 6 of 2025, Pramono instructed all DKI Jakarta Provincial Government employees to use mass public transportation to depart and work, as well as mobility for the implementation of tasks every Wednesday.
The general transportation includes Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, LRT Jabodebek, KRL Commuter Line, airport trains, regular buses/angkots, as well as ships and shuttle vehicles for employees/employees.
