Buleleng Residents Died Allegedly Persecuted By Three TNI Members, Kodam IX/Udayana Intervened

A total of three members of the TNI are suspected of molesting a Balinese named Komang Juliatawan (31) to death. A young man from Sepang Village, Busung Biu District, Buleleng Regency was accused of embezzling a motorcycle belonging to the parents of a perpetrator.

The three TNI soldiers involved in the persecution, each with the initials Sertu KSY, Pratu MR, and Prada PAH, were members of Kodam IX / Udayana who served in Yonif 900 / SBW Buleleng.

"Three members of Battalion 900/SBW with the initials Sertu KSY, Pratu MR, and Prada PAH are suspected of being involved in the incident," said Kapendam IX/Udayana Candra Infantry Colonel in Denpasar, Wednesday, May 7, quoted from ANTARA.

Candra said the persecution by members of the TNI was revealed after reports from the victim's family, namely Gede Kamar Yadnya (44) to Subdenpom IX/3-1 Singaraja who informed his younger brother, Komang Juliarawan, had died at Buleleng Hospital.

Komang was rushed to Buleleng Hospital allegedly after being persecuted by the three members of the TNI.

Kapendam said that currently the three members of Yonif 900/SBW have been detained and are still under intensive investigation by Subdenpom IX/3-1 Singaraja in accordance with applicable legal procedures.

Based on the results of an interim investigation conducted by the Singaraja Subdenpom IX/3-1 team, explained Candra, the incident began when Komang Juliarawan was suspected of embezzling and selling a motorcycle belonging to Prada PAH's biological parents.

The money from the sale of the motorcycle is thought to have been spent on gambling.

This made three perpetrators emotional and abused, resulting in the victim having to be rushed to Buleleng Hospital. However, the victim's life could not be saved and died.

"We have taken swift and decisive action and we continue to coordinate with the authorities to ensure that the legal process runs fairly and objectively," said Candra.

Until this news was revealed, the families of the victims of the persecution of the three members of the TNI could not be confirmed.
