Diplomats Are Starting To Arrive At The Palace To Be Inaugurated As Ambassadors

JAKARTA - A number of Indonesian figures and diplomats arrived at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday, March 24. They will be sworn in by President Prabowo Subianto to be the Indonesian ambassador (dubes) at 17.00 WIB at the Merdeka Palace.

The ambassador candidates, along with their companions, began arriving from the access to Majapahit's door at around 15.30 WIB, accompanied by his wife and children. The ambassador candidates are compact wearing suit for men, while for women wearing kebaya.

Right at the entrance gate to the Merdeka Palace, the ambassador candidates showed their invitation to the officers, and then after the barcode at the invitation was scanned, they were invited to enter the Palace.

Before the inauguration ceremony, the ambassador candidates will attend the rehearsal which is scheduled to take place at 16.00 WIB.

Several diplomats were seen arriving at the Palace to be sworn in as ambassadors including Tyas Baskoro, Her Witjaksono Adji, Cecep Herawan, Simon Djatmoko Irwantoro Soekarno, Arief Hidayat, then several figures who had attended, including Junimart Girsang, and former KSAU Marshal TNI (Ret.) Yuyu Sutisna.

President Prabowo is scheduled to inaugurate 31 Indonesian ambassadors at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday afternoon.

The following is a list of ambassador candidates to be sworn in this afternoon by President Prabowo:

1. Penny Dewi Herasati as the Indonesian Ambassador to Hungary;

2. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin as the Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan, concurrently with the Republic of Kyrgyzstan;

3. Dicky Komar as Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Lebanon;

4. Agus Priyono as the Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname, concurrently the Republic of Guiana Cooperative;

5. Andreano Erwin as Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, concurrently Montenegro;

6. Hersindaru Arwityo Ibnu Wiwoho Wahyutomo as Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Finland, concurrently with the Republic of Estonia;

7. Yayan Double Hayat Mulyana as Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, concurrently to the Republic of Latvia;

8. Fikry Cassidy as Indonesian Ambassador to Bolivariant Venezuela, concurrently Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, and the Republic of Tokyo and Tobango;

9. Hendra Halim as the Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Panama, concurrently the Republic of Honduras, the Republic of Costa Rica, and the Republic of Nicaragua;
