Rest Area KM 445 B Semarang Owned By Central Java Provincial Government Ready To Serve Homecomers

Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi ensured that "Rest Area of Central Java Agro Berdikari KM 445 B" belonging to the Central Java Provincial Government on the Solo-Semarang toll road is ready to serve travelers on the 2025 Eid homecoming flow.

"The facilities are complete, and ready to welcome backflow," he said, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the "Rest Area of Central Java Agro Berdikari KM 445 B", in Semarang Regency, Friday, March 21.

Rest area tipa A belonging to the Central Java Provincial Government is managed by BUMD Central Java Agro Berdikari so that with the inauguration of the service, it is ready to be used to serve travelers from Lebaran 2025.

The rest area in the Semarang Regency area has complete facilities, ranging from gas stations, SPKLU (General Electric Vehicle Charging Station), mosques, toilets, security posts from the police, ATMs, to outlets for various culinary delights.

Luthfi said that the "rest area" was ready to welcome backflow because it was on route B, namely the toll road from Solo to Semarang or Jakarta.

Despite emphasizing services, he said, the "rest area" is also targeted to benefit so that it can be deposited into local revenue (PAD).

"The target of the BUMD must be able to increase PAD," said the former Central Java Police Chief.

The Governor of Central Java reminded outlets selling culinary products not to take advantage of aji while serving buyers.

Therefore, according to him, the price list must be displayed so that it is understood by potential buyers who stop by.

This is because many of Central Java's original food and souvenir products are displayed in "rest areas", such as salted eggs, soto foods, and martabaks.

Meanwhile, Central Java BUMD Business Director Agro Berdikari Gerry Grefisanto said that the "rest area" was built on an area of eight hectares.

Currently, development has reached 93 percent, and lacks the construction of advanced outlets.

The rest area can accommodate 250 vehicles in the main parking space, but it can increase to 400 on the entrance.

"The entrance is long, it can be used to park if the main area is full," he said.
