AQUA Returns To Support Ramadan Jazz Festival 2025

JAKARTA - Celebrating the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 2025 (1445 H), AQUA again supports the Islamic Youth of the Cut Meutia Mosque (RICMA) as the main sponsor in organizing the 14th Ramadan Jazz Festival (RJF).

This music festival lasts for two days, March 14-15, 2025, at the Set of the Cut Meutia Mosque, Menteng, Central Jakarta. This support marks the second time AQUA has participated in the RJF, in line with its commitment to continue to support initiatives that inspire goodness and strengthen the values of togetherness, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.

This 2025 Ramadan Jazz Festival was also attended by Mr. Marc Gerritsen, Dutch Ambassador to Indonesia, Benny Suprihartadi, Chairman of the Cut Meutia Mosque Foundation, Agus Setiawan Basuni, Founder of Wartajazz, Vera Galuh Sugijanto, VP General Secretary AQUA, and Muhammad Ridho Dafiutomo, Chairman of the Islamic Youth Mosque Cut Meutia.

Vera Galuh Sugijanto, VP General Secretary AQUA, said that AQUA has been part of the long journey of Muslims in Indonesia.

"AQUA as a pure 100 percent hydration that we maintain from the source to the community, always strives to be present in various initiatives that spread goodness. To realize a better country, collaboration with various parties is needed, including through the Ramadan Jazz Festival. By carrying the theme Our Time Is Now 14th Ramadan Jazz Festival (RJF) this year invites all levels of society, especially the younger generation, to be more proactive in creating change and have a positive impact on the surrounding environment," he said.

This festival is enlivened by the performances of a number of top musicians who performed during the two days of the event. On the first day, March 14, 2025, the audience will be presented with the performances of Salma Salsabil, Pendarra, HIVI, and Rafi Sudirman. Meanwhile, on the second day, March 15, 2025, the RJF stage will be filled by Kunto Aji, Nabilla Taqiyyah, Wijaya 80, Naddif Basalamah, and Juli, who are ready to pamper visitors with their special appearances.

RJF has been widely known as a music festival with a more in-depth mission. Benny Suprihartadi, Chairman of the Cut Meutia Mosque Foundation, revealed that the Ramadan Jazz Festival was designed as a means of da'wah that can be accepted by various circles of society in a creative way, namely through jazz music. Music, as a universal language, becomes a bridge to convey a peaceful Islamic message and kindness.

"The presence of the Dutch Ambassador at this event further emphasized that Islam is a religion that brings and is able to establish friendship with anyone. With the same spirit, God willing, in the future, this program will continue and develop. We hope to be able to return to collaboration with AQUA and various other parties, so that more goodness and benefits can be felt by the wider community," said Benny.

This year, the collaboration between AQUA and RICMA in this RJF not only presents the performance of talented musicians from the jazz and pop genres, but also makes a real contribution to the community through donations from ticket sales and donation packages. The proceeds from the sale will be channeled for the renovation of the prayer room and the revitalization of mosques in the Jabodetabek area. This collaboration is part of AQUA's commitment to spread goodness, which is in line with the spirit of Ramadan, where every positive action brings benefits to others.

Ramadan Jazz Festival has been held since 2011 and continues to prioritize social values in each edition of its implementation. In 2024, AQUA also became the main sponsor in the 13th RJF, where all the proceeds from its sales were channeled to help Muslim brothers in Palestine.

"Spreading goodness is not only through festivals, but can be started by ensuring halal consumption and thayyib, not only from product quality, but also benefits for the community. Through this spirit, AQUA contributes through tabligh akbar, Islamic studies, MSME bazaars, and various initiatives in dozens of mosques to strengthen the value of benefit for Muslims in Indonesia," concluded Vera.
