Two Boys Were Molested By A Middle-aged Man While Playing Cellphones In Jatinegara

JAKARTA - A middle-aged man with the initials S (53) has the heart to commit obscene acts against two boys who are none other than his own neighbors.

In fact, the victim was molested near his house around Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. The two male victims had the initials KRA (5) and ANA (7).

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the incident began when the perpetrator was about to go to work and saw the victim playing with his cellphone in front of their house.

The perpetrator with the initials S then approached the victim and touched the victim's chest and genitals. When the perpetrator did what he did, the victim struggled and fled leaving the perpetrator.

"The victim then reported to his parents. Then the victim's parents reported the incident to the police," said Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, February 25.

After receiving a report from the victim's parents, the PPA Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) then made an attempt to force the arrest of the perpetrator with the initials S around the scene.

"The perpetrator is currently being held at the East Jakarta Metro Police," he said.

The perpetrator with the initials S has also been named a top suspect. However, the police are still investigating the role the suspect played in the victim.

As a result of his actions, suspect S was charged with Article 76E, in conjunction with Article 82 of Law No. 17 of 2016 concerning child protection.
