Truck Driver Dies After Collision Of Road Barrier Concrete In Gatot Subroto

JAKARTA - A driver with the initials AS died after an accident in front of the Bidakara Building, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Monday morning, February 24. The truck carrying the driver with the initials AS hit the concrete road divider.

"The driver of a truck with the initials AS died at the TKP (the scene of the incident) and the vehicle was damaged," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Legal Development (Gakkum) of the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate, AKBP Ojo Ruslani in an official statement, Monday, February 24.

Ojo said the accident occurred when the US was traveling from the west to the east on Jalan Gatot Subroto in the South Jakarta area.

Arriving at the scene of the incident, to be precise in front of Bidakara Tower, the driver was suspected of not being careful and concentrating on the rain that made the road wet.

Until finally the truck numbered B-9704-FDD hit the concrete barrier of the Pancoran flyover.

"The body has been taken to the RSCM and the truck vehicle has been taken to the Sub-Directorate of Gakkum Polda Metro Jaya," he said.
