Bringing Arrows And Bows, 3 People Become Suspects Of Clashes Between Young People In Alor NTT

The Alor Resort Police, East Nusa Tenggara, have named three suspects in a case of clashes between village youths that occurred on Saturday-Sunday which left seven people injured by arrows.

"We have named three people as suspects in the brawl case," said Alor Police Chief AKBP Supriadi Rahman when contacted from Kupang, Antara, Thursday, February 20.

This was conveyed by the Police Chief regarding the development of a brawl or clash between youth groups between Kampung Wetabua and Kampung Baru last week.

Three suspects, one of whom is 23 years old with the initials SYT and the other two are minors.

The determination of the suspect was carried out after a case was held led by Alor Police Chief AKBP Supriadi Rahman accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Iptu Anselmus Leza and Head of Bin Ops Reskrim Ipda Ibrahim Fakih Usman.

The results of the case title stated that the inter-district brawl had fulfilled the elements according to the article.

"It has been immediately upgraded to an investigation from the previous stage of the investigation," said the Police Chief.

During the brawl, three suspects used sharp weapons in the form of bows and arrows and stones.

A number of evidences, such as arrows and rock samples, have also been secured after the brawl. The suspects have now been detained at the Alor Police for further investigation.

They were charged with Article 2 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 12 Emergency Year 1951, subsidiary Article 170 Paragraph (2) 1st Criminal Code, and subsidiary Article 170 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

The police chief said that currently the security conditions at the location of the brawl were conducive after the related parties held a meeting to jointly maintain security.
