Kayan Safety Operation 2025, Ditlantas Polda Kaltara Ramp Check Bus Damri

TANJUNG SELOR - The Directorate of Traffic of the North Kalimantan Police (Kaltara) checked the feasibility or Ramp Check of public transport vehicles and goods in Tanjung Selor, Bulungan.

Kapusdalopsda Kayan Safety Ops 2025, AKP Yudi Pribadi said that one of the public transportation vehicles at the ramp check was the Damri bus at the Tanjung Selor Main Market Terminal.

"We from the Ditlantas Polda Kaltara through the Kayan Safety Ops personnel in 2025 carried out a check on the feasibility of the Damri Bus," said AKP Yudi Pribadi, Friday, February 14.

"The purpose of this Ramp check is to prevent accidents due to non-roadworthy vehicles. In addition to the safety and comfort of these passengers, it also enforces traffic and road transportation rules," he continued.

The inspections carried out include complete driving documents such as Vehicle Registration Certificates (STNK), KIR nails (vehicle feasibility test), driver driver's driving license (SIM) and official transportation documents for public transportation and goods.

"Conditions such as the main brake and handbrake, main lights and brake lights, tires (wind thickness and pressure), rearview mirrors, wipers and seat belts are all we check," he explained.

Not to forget, Kayan Safety Ops personnel checked the availability of safety equipment such as Light Fire Extinguishing Equipment (APAR), jacks and safety triangles, first aid boxes and glass-breaking hammers.

"Security Ops personnel Kayan appealed to Damri Bus drivers not to consume alcohol or drugs while driving and knowing personal health while working," he said.
