JAKARTA - The search for five missing victims who were dragged by flash floods in Nanga Wera Village, Wera District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province was again stopped because of bad weather.

"After the break, bada Dzuhur, heavy rain occurred so that today's search for victims was stopped," said Bima SAR Post Coordinator Muhammad Darwis, when confirmed at the flood site in Wera, Thursday, February 6, as reported by Antara.

He conveyed that this termination was carried out to anticipate further flooding, because the search process was carried out around the river.

"All joint volunteers and SAR teams have been withdrawn to the main post, as well as to their respective posts," he said.

Darwis added that the search for five victims had been carried out since this morning.

"Until this afternoon there is still nothing. Later when the weather has improved, then we will return to search. God willing, if the weather has improved, we will continue to search for the five people," he said.

Until the fourth day of the flash flood incident, there were still five people who were lost in the current. The five were Juliani with her eight-month-old son, and Suryani with her three-year-old son and 65-year-old father-in-law.
